Check your emails with emailaudit.com

We recently launched a service to check your emails against standards, guidelines, and best practices. This service is called EmailAudit and is available on emailaudit.com. It checks DNS, SPF, headers, DKIM, DMARC, and more. The results are not a simple pass or fail, but contain detailed information on compliance and suggestions for fixing.

EmailAudit was developed in-house and has had a long history of throw-away prototypes. After trying several languages and frameworks we settled with JRuby and Torquebox. By using the latest reference libraries for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC we make sure that the results are accurate and standards compliant. A few weeks ago we finally released it for public testing.

The service is offered for free to anyone. The number of tests you can request is limited to 3 per 24 hours to give all users a fair share. You just need to submit your email to receive a notification when the audit is ready. We won’t be nagging you and your data is kept private. We do recommend that you read our privacy policy before using the service.
